Justice for Southwest Georgia (JSWGA) has the mission to further the qualities of fairness and decency that conform to the principle of moral rightness in the action and attitude, for the benefit of all people in Southwest Georgia. JSWGA advocates a standard for justice by which laws and regulations of local and state authorities are measured for impartiality. That standard promotes social welfare for all through civic betterment and social improvement.
Our 2024 goal is to increase voter turnout in Southwest Georgia in November by 5000 votes. We are partnering with political scientists at Emory and Georgia State to find ways to encourage low propensity voters.

Our JSWGA team is "deep canvassing" voters who voted in 2008 or 2012 but not 2020. Please watch this video for more information.
Deep Canvassing is an approach in which we build emotional bonds with voters through conversation and stories of shared experiences and concerns. It has shown to increase voting by 14%.
We believe that, with deep canvassing, some of these discouraged voters will return to the voting booth in 2024.
